Current Election Results

NEW COURTHOUSE AND CAMANO OFFICE HOURS INCLUDE FRIDAY CLOSURES 

In response to additional budget shortfalls and diminished staffing, The Board of Island County Commissioners has made the decision to make some changes to hours of operation at the County offices in Coupeville.

In order to provide staff uninterrupted time to complete work and to accommodate some reduction in staff hours, some offices have changed their hours and will be closed to the public on Fridays.

The following offices will be open to the public 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and closed to the public on Fridays

• Assessors
• Auditor (which includes Vehicle license tabs, Elections and Recording)
• Treasurer
• General Services Admin.
• Human Resources
• Commissioners

The following offices will be open to the public 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and closed to the public on Fridays.

• Planning
• Public Works
• Health permit centers
• Sheriff’s Department

The remaining offices that will maintain the usual hours 8:00 to 4:30 and will be open to the public Monday through Friday.

• Law and Justice (with the exception of the Sheriff)
• Human Services
• Nursing
• South Whidbey Health
• Oak Harbor Family Resource Center
• Camano Clinic, District Court
• Road Shops

The Prosecuting Attorneys office will be open to the public 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday.  On Friday they will be open to the public from 8:30 to 2:30.

The Camano Annex will maintain its usual hours of 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday but will close Friday.
